Island is actually Battlefield Thaumaturge, from Journey into Nyx.



Since Curse of the swine cost XUU where X is the number of creatures you want to target, I thought that with Battlefield Thaumaturge already in play you could cast it for UU and target any number of creatures.
I would like to know if it works as I describe it or not.

It had better, or the guy who previewed the Thaumaturge in his article has some explaining to do.

I'd add a Leyline of Singularity to the mix. Make it two mana to permanently get rid of all the targets, rather than replace them with pigs.

I almost anticipate a RWU deck with things like Comet Storm, Curse of Swine, and Launch the Fleet.
