unsure if this works, but have doubling season out, play ral zarek, use ral zarek 3rd ability, use adept to return ral zarek to your hand, take another turn, repeat :)

note, adept can be replaced by time elemental

Are you thinking that because the planeswalker uses counters he would come out with 8 instead of 4? Because that would not be the case.

No, this actually works lol. Doubling Season will double the counters a PW comes into play with. That's why it's worth so much more than Primal Vigor, when both do essentially the same thing for creatures.

I agree that this works, there has been many other combos posted here using planeswalkers with doubling season, Doubling season is just broken with any planeswalker.

Just remember, Doubling Season doubles what a Planeswalker enters the field with, but will not double its plus abilities. The adding or removing of loyalty counters is the cost, not the ability itself.
