illusionary servant has text that says when ever it is the target of a spell or ability sacrifice it. cowardice says when ever a creature becomes the target of a spell or ability return it to its owner's hand. will this save illusionary servant?

Both triggers go off at the same time so it will depends on who controls what.
If you control both the servent and cowardice you control the order the triggers go on the stack. Put the servants on the stack first, and then cowardice. Cowardice resolves returning the servant to your hand
if you control one and the opponent controls the other it depends whos turn it is. Triggers go off and are place on the stack with the active players going first, then the other. So if opponent controls cowardice, and its his turn, cowardice will go on the stack first so your creature dies. If it was your turn creature will live since servant will go on the stack first. This is know as APNAP order (Active Player Non Active Player)
