Those mountains do nothing extra and you know it. Why? Because Platinum Angel costs seven, so you are three mana short of playing it. If you wanted to also use Quicksilver Amulet (for example) to get it onto the battlefield, that would need to be added, THEN those Mountains would be a (pseudo) addition to the combo.
Also, this doesn't have to be "red" as Isochron Scepter to care less about what mana you use to activate it, and that is how Final Fortune is being played. The combo in question can go into a deck running any (combination of) colors the player chooses.
Why we care: Combos are posted by people on this forum. The better combos he or she posts, the better they are remembered in a social aspect. Posting something that has already been posted, even if your idea came from out of the blue, is not original. Example: Tony Hawk's signature move is the 900. He spins nine hundred degrees in the air on his skateboard and lands it. Since then others have pulled it off, snowboarding straight up surpasses it, but it is still Tony Hawk who is remembered, because he did it first.
Telling a database what it already knows is redundant because it already knows it. If you want to comment on that combo, or even like it (there are like buttons now) then that is a good way to get it back into the public eye.
tl;dr please use the search card feature in the top right of your webpage to see if a similar/exact combo of what you wish to post has already been posted. If it is too similar, like yours, you have to be ready to defend your additions, else admit your faults. You aren't the first one to have this happen, its happened to me too. You didn't know this time, but you know now.
Keep posting and let us see some new combos!
