need 1 swamp and 1 forest to make it work, glistener elf turn 1, rest turn 2 and attack

As in pauper format, it only matters if it was ever printed as a common. Although its latest rendition is uncommon, the original Urza's Legacy printing of Rancor was common.
The inverse occurred with Lightning Bolt.

Give it Fear.
To do that you might want to have a throwaway / sack-able creature and use Culling the Weak
