Mana Echoes, Cryptic Gateway, Carnival of Souls, Ogre Battledriver, Stalking Vengeance, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Quest for the Goblin Lord and a handful of other cards can help make this combo into a really dumb Commander Deck. So this is some crazy idea of mine, where this all happens and it can be near infinite and I think it would be tons of fun. It isn't really that much of a combo, just a deck build concept that can work well.
Hit Muddy with Tymarets' abilities, after casting Showstopper, it deals 7 damage, return him to top with Mortuary, Draw with Prophecy repeat. I know there is a lot of stuff to do, but still seems fun.

Sadly Showstopper won't effect a creature that enters the battlefield after it resolves, so you'll only deal that seven damage once. The recasting of the creature is considered a different instance of the creature than the one that was on the battlefield during the resolution of Showstopper.
We've had a bunch of conversation on this sort of thing when that persist artifact.
