The watcher sliver can be replaced with two sinew or muscle slivers, but you need your slivers to have more toughness so they don't die. Hit you Psionic powers to ping something in turn gaining you 5 life. Each time you tap a sliver it deals a total of 5 damage. Just add in some extra toughness or fungus for fun. I know Dark did it with Vigor, but I like keeping it all Slivers.

I had fun this way with my old sliver deck. Only that I used Might sliver instead of Watcher sliver. Slivers are so versatile!
