The Celestial Convergence is your win condition. Renounce pulls double duty of setting up your life total for victory, and maximizing how many permanents your opponents phase out on your upkeep, due to Equipoise. The Sands of Time, by bypassing untap phases, also makes all the phasing out permanent, making breaking the combo as hard as possible, without anything except enchantments and/or planeswalkers.
