For anyone who doesn't know, cumulative upkeep cards use counters to keep track of how many times the upkeep 'cost' has to be paid.
Equip the Bairn with the Mantle with the braid out.
First upkeep: Tap the Bairn for a blue mana, spend that, the Braid mana, and one extra to double the counters on the Braid of Fire - new total 2.
Second upkeep: Tap the Bairn for a blue, spend that and the Braid mana to double the counters on it again -new total 6.
Third upkeep: Tap the Bairn and untap it with the Braid mana three times - New total 28.
Fourth turn: Repeat above for 14 doubles - new total 475,136 counters on the Braid of Fire.
To quote the meme, "That Escalated Quickly".
What you choose to do with over 400,000 mana on your fifth upkeep is up to you. Good luck finding a calculator to handle spending it all on doubling the counters again though.

lol I love it, mostly because imagining that ouphe burping out mana is wonderful.

add "training grounds" , with paradise mantle and gilder bairn is infinite trickery.
