Play the crown, targeting the Champion, deal damage to enemy('s creatures). Return crown to hand. Rinse and repeat.
=> 2 damage shooting for only 2 red mana and no cards lost.
This works for blue and green Heroic Creatures also with Shimmering Wings and Whip Silk respectively. For black you need 1B to cast the Aura, for white you need 2W (plus the one mana to return it), so less viable for this combo.
