They attack you with multiple creatures,  play Valor Made Real and Safe Passage to kill their creartures while Cathedral Membrane survives.
The advantage to this over Alaborn Zealot is Alaborn Zealot dies too.

How does the Cathedral kill all of their creatures if you prevent the damage done to it?

Without safe passage it's almost the same, just not as strong due to the fact that a creature could have more toughness than damage dealt to it. But take out safe passage and it's pretty decent
