Donate the Ivory Tower to someone to counteract Viseling's ability. Or, likewise, you could donate the viseling to save yourself and change who gets targeted. Your call

Not exactly. If you choose to donate ivory tower, you and they are safe. However, if you choose to donate viseling while the tower is out, ivory tower will counteract the damage dealt by viseling. The only real ways it could backfire are if an opponent destroys the tower, clones viseling, or wins by life loss and you are targeted.
