Necromancy is a fun little aura, in that it acts like Animate Dead, but with flash. Sure, it will normally destroy itself at the end of the turn, but that's if its still around by then. Flash Necromancy out on your opponent's turn to return the leviathan to the battlefield, and everything else including the Necromancy to their owners' hands. Then the leviathan dies because Necromancy is gone, and you can do it again, still at instant speed, without cards like Vedalken Orrery.
