Basicaly use Drain Life to target the opponent's creatures while you have Horobi out and instantly kill them.

Sorry I misunderstood Drain Life. 
With Cauldron of Souls they'll just come back meaning you'll have to do it twice.

But the wording is "single target", means "only one target "

Horobi's kill trigger will always resolve before the Cauldron, so nothing will ever actually get the persist effect before dying.

As a side note, that version of Drain Life is so outdated, it is still worded like a spell in a normal fantasy game instead of for rules and clarity. I kind of miss those days.

In that case I can't use Drain Life in my Demon deck to wipe my opponent's field with Grave Betrayal out so I'll have to put Exanguinate instead.

Exsanguinate won't do much, since it only affects your opponents, not their creatures, and doesn't target either.

If you really need a multi-targeting spell for Horobi, Cauldron haze costs 2 mana and is an instant with no limit to the number of targets. There are also some white damage prevention spells that can target any number of creatures as well.

Another thing that you could use is a simple electrikery overloaded. A lot less mana intensive, though hitting a second color

overload removes the targeting aspect of the spell turning it into a sweeper. as a result hobrari wont trigger

touch of darkness is an option, but i would go dauthi's embrace. its repeatable and can still benefit the deck if horabri isnt on the field. especially if stronghold is in the deck

No but I have Crypt Ghast amd Wound Reflection with game sets of Read the Bones and Demonic Tutor to search them out.
