Recently Knarf posted a combo utilizing the "heroic" mechanic with a card like flickering ward that can return that card to your hand enabling multiple heroic triggers. I am trying for a EDH deck packed with this ability. I have already included all cards with "buyback" I can muster, but if anyone knows of any other cards like "flickering ward" that can easily return to hand please post them for discussion.

narncink think your missing the return to hand part

off the top i can think of mourning, shimmering wings, conviction
cage of hands does dual duty

They won't bounce back to his hand but they can still trigger twice.

What Geri posted is basically the best options for triggering Heroic, but as for lasting effects you could also use Arcanum Wings. Targeting your heroic dudes to trigger, then swapping Arcanum back to your hand to do it again, while cheating out a good aura to stay on your creature is a beautiful thing.

So far all of this is great. Weather a double trigger or return to hand, in a 100 card edh deck all are useful. I am focusing this deck on green, white and red, but blue and black suggestions are welcome for future reference.

Icatian Priest, it costs 1 more to do each time, but can be done instantaneously. Finally good reason to run I.P.
