Island is Illusionist's Bracers. Copy the tap ability, add two mana to your pool, one being island, untap whatever creature it's on, and play any spell of your choice

Please rethink your combo. Please take into account the Bracer's text:
Whenever an
ability of equipped creature
is activated,
if it isn't a mana ability
, copy that ability.

As Knarf said, the bracers don't copy mana abilities (ie, nearly any ability that adds mana to a mana pool). There are a few rare closet cases that add mana and can be copied, but they aren't practical to use.
