Here is kind of a fun combo for any EDH deck as it is colorless.

Orb of Dreams causes all permanents to enter play tapped.
Sands of Time is a wacky card that forces each player to skip their untap step, then during the upkeep tap the untapped permanents while untapping the tapped ones.
Ean Hub causes each player to skip their upkeep steps.

with all 3 in play together you have a colorless lock.  Permanents enter play tapped, while each player skips their untap and upkeep steps.

Sands of Time only happens during the beginning of the turn and Eon Hub skips the upkeep so this doesn't work.

Actually it works exactly as intended. The sands of time, as he said, skips untap phases. The Eon Hub skips upkeeps. Thus preventing pretty much all untapping. The orb finishes it by tapping things as they enter the field.

to understand this combo you need to know card errata of Sands of Time: http://magiccards.info/vi/en/153.html
The tap/untapping takes place at the beginning of upkeep. Since you skip upkeep, it is a lock.

One question... How do you not lock yourself down during this? It locks you down too... Are there any self-untapping guys that would get through this???

In order to keep yourself functioning, I'd think you'd play sac outlets that produce mana, as well as spirit guides or the like. If you're looking to bypass the lock, though, the most efficient way around it to my knowledge is any creature that untaps itself with an illusionist bracers to ensure it only effects you.

or keep the lock, add solitary confinement, then go get a Dr. Pepper
