All this does is stop card draw and stop an opponent from casting a spell on their turn. Similar to the knowledge pool lock, but different

Actually, this doesn't stop them from casting anything. They just get one spell, which will usually be the one the omen machine flips. If they hit a land with that though, it can be from their hand.
