The things that make Dovescape vulnerable in EDH are creatures that trigger when they hit. Drop a Torpor Orb before you get the 'scape down and you're untouchable. Torpor Orb is beast in EDH anyways. Shut down those Angel of Despair, all the Titans, divinity counters, etc. Enjoy!

The Myojin get divinity counters as they enter, not as a triggered ability after they enter. Torpor Orb only stops abilities worded like 'when this or another creature enters the battlefield.'

That said, the Orb is hilarious for dealing with the rest of that list. Some people just don't realize how strong it is.
