1st island is Elite Arcanist from M-14, second island is Talrand, Sky Summoner
 
1. Get intruder alarm onto the battlefield first as it costs the least
2. Play Talrand
3. Play Elite Arcanist, exile rewind onto Elite Arcanist
4. Play Clone, copy Elite Arcanist, exile Cryptic command onto the Clone.
5.  No more spells for your opponents (except for the ones that cant be countered)

This is a good thought, but it doesn't work. Due to the fact that the spells are copies of the original, talrands ability won't trigger because it isn't being cast.

like the scepter elite copies the card not the spell. you then cast the copied card which follows all the normal rules (and triggers) of casting a spell
