Well, the system has innistrad but not ravnica 2 yet, I guess. Braingeyser is standing in for Epic Experiment.

Just a little thing I noticed. The rules on the kamigawa block epic spells are that once the spell resolves, it locks you out of casting further spells. With Epic Experiment, however, you can cast as many of the epic spells as you want, since they will already be cast and waiting to resolve and bypass the epic lock.

So, with the right mana and flip, you could cast all five of them together. With an even better flip and a lot more mana, you could cast four copies of each, but that is 1/3 of a deck and probably not practical at all for play.

Epic Experiment: Exile the top X cards of your library. For each instant and sorcery card with converted mana cost X or less among them, you may cast that card without paying its mana cost. Then put all cards exiled this way that weren't cast into your graveyard.

10/1/2012 You cast the cards one at a time, choosing modes, targets, and so on. The last card you cast will be the first one to resolve.

Epic (as a card ability): Epic (For the rest of the game, you can't cast spells. At the beginning of each of your upkeeps, copy this spell except for its epic ability.)

From the looks of it, you can only have one Epic spell be cast from Epic Experiment, after that, none of the others can be cast, let alone resolve. Sorry.

Oh, casting means throw on the stack, play is resolve. Right.
That one slipped by me when I was posting, thanks for setting me straight.

DISREGARD MY LAST POST PLEASE!

Actually, no, you cannot cast more than the first one. The rulings on the EE read "you cast the cards one at a time" which means the second one is cast AFTER the first one resolves, therefor you will only get the first spell and then the "lockout"

Appologies, I guess you could. Since it lets them all stack up before resolving. The first read was off putting because it says "cast one at a time", I missed the last part of "last in, first out". I know how it all works but I thought that the card ruling was that one card casts and then resolves and so on.. Sorry
