Ok, so after checking around a bit after my last combo, if a planeswalker ceases to be a planeswalker through whatever means, it is no longer affected by the planeswalker rule, allowing for two of the same 'walker to be on the field together. So with that, I present this new spin on warping time and space to confuse people:

In this instance, for the full flavor, Ajani Goldmane is subbing in for Gideon, Champion of Justice.



Anyway, get the sculptor, coating, brawl, and Gideon of your choice on the field together. Activate Gideon's animator ability to make him a creature. Then hit him with the soul sculptor. At this point, he loses all card types (per the sculptor's rulings page), and becomes just an enchantment.

Next, cast the other Gideon and wait until your next turn (or grant him haste somehow), and hit the enchantment-Gideon with the coating to make it an artifact and equipment in addition to being an enchantment, and equip him to his other self.

You now have a planeswalker using another version of himself as a weapon. If the TARDIS does not show up to stop you and the universe does not collapse, feel free to attack your opponent.

Unlike my other combo, this is far less versatile, as only Gideon has a built in way to become a creature, and the soul sculptor is the only card I know of that can change a card type that drastically.

bioshift moves +1/+1 counters only. Gideon uses loyalty counters like every other planeswalker.

Hex Parasite, Aether Snap, and Vampire Hexmage do what you are talking about.
