Assemble the Legion is needed for this (proxy here is swamp

assemble the legion makes a ton of creatures, cathars crusade makes them huge

I have a very nazty deck that runs the Crusade, Doubling Season, Darien, King of Kjeldor, and the white 1/1 creature that gains you a life when a creature enters (cant remember the name of it, white version of Essence Warden, I dont play it much because people get reeeeal mad lol). Lightning Bolt me do ya? Ok, Ill take 3 life, get 6 1/1 creatures, gain 6 life back, then put 1/1 counters on all my creautres hahaha. Gain 3 life, bump all your current creautres +6/6 and gain 6 6/6s all for ZERO mana.

turn 1 this combo is out... you get 1 1/1 creature

turn 2, you get 2 1/1 cretures, one of them gets +1/+1 for each new creature

turn 3... 3 more soldiers... each creature you contro gets 3 more +1/+1 counters... the pattern only gets worse...

add stuff like fortune theif with indestructability... you can see where this is going i think.. xD

add coat of arms and it is far worse again...
