I refound this combo today. Dakkon Thued found it first and used a proxy. It is now searchable.

I set up a Maniac/Hermit deck. Unfortunately I never won with this deck since I failed to protect my maniac and my opponents always used swords or bolt on my maniac during stack resolution...!-(

So I'm going to re-design the deck, thought lash may go in the new deck!-)

I'd try Lightning Greaves, Silence, Chill, or the age old favorite Force of Will.
