Nice synergy here. Sledge will kill kokusho and a blocking creature. It then makes opponent lose 5 life which you gain. So more often than not they'll just take 5 damage rather than lose 5 life, a creature and give you 5 life. Lol. Either way its a positive especially if you're playing with zombify or something like it.
