Simple idea tap guide to do his ability. Put a land in play. It counts as creature untapping all lands and guide. Use same lands and guide again. Rinse and repeat until all lands get in play the I'd reccomend a disenchant for living plane.

If you have enough lands in play swing with them for the kill

You could try but they have sickness so they'd sit a whole turn to possibly die. In a multi playergame that would get even worse. Yes they could attack though too.
