Trying something with Brioun Stoutarm EDH deck

Ok, since you didn't explain what you were attempting here, let me take a crack at it:

Brion equipped with the Thornbite Staff. Sneak attack out the Hamletback, followed by the Malignus. The Hamletback gets boosted by half your opponent's life total.

Then Brion throws the Malignus and untaps himself due to the staff, and you steal half your opponent's life total.

Finally he throws the Hamletback, to finish them off for the other half of their life plus the Hamletback's base power.

No real need for the geosurge.

Its clever, I will give you that. I've been trying to figure out a Malignus win that wasn't just Furnace of Rath, and this does it.

why not just give brion, stoutarm infect and be done with it?
