This will require at least one creature in a graveyard to maintain itself.

The Tombstone Stairwell makes its tombspawn tokens on each upkeep, and kills them at the end step. As each dies, Black Market gets a counter, and gives you a black mana for each counter on it at your main phase. Upwelling allows you to hold that mana and spend it on the upkeep of the Stairwell. For each creature in the graveyards beyond the first, you will gain one more black mana a cycle, per player.
