Thanks to how infect and the gladiator work, this can take out up to a 6/6, and can survive smacking down up to an 11/11. During its ability, the gladiator deals its damage first, piling 6 -1/-1 counters on the target. THEN the target gets a swing, but with its power reduced by that much, chances are it won't do any damage at all.

In all, it allows you to run over indestructible, regenerating, or combat-avoiding creatures, while still having a 6/6 infect stomping its way at your opponent.

note: The targeted creature will not do damage to the gladiator unless the gladiator does its damage to that creature, because of the wording. I tested and used this combo on the online client for a while with it functioning exactly as described.
