More simple synergy, but with this combination, however many cards you discard to Firestorm, you deal that much damage to the player squared. For example five cards deals a total of twenty five damage to your chosen player.

I think this combo needs some work. This is really two cards. It should have a card drawing engine, maybe a creature to give, Stuffy Doll. The real thinking behind the combo.

It works great with my one-mana-mono-red-burn-deck.

Start with seven cards,
play three mountains and repercussion. (7-4)=3 cards in hand
Next turn draw your third card (fourth if you went second) 3+3=6 cards in hand
Same turn Firestorm for 5 (5 sources of five damage, if opponent has 4 creatures, this translates to 25 damage to that opponent, if they have only three, you can hit yourself with 5 damage and STILL hit your opponent for 20).
OR if they have three creatures and one of the cards in your hand is a Fireblast, you can just Firestorm with four cards(16 damage), and then sacrifice two mountains to Fireblast for the last 4.

Stuffy Doll would actually make the combo go off later. Same with waiting for Furnace of Rath (or the safer Curse of Bloodletting).

As far as creature giving, we can sure as #311 swap a mountain for Forbidden Orchard. First turn dropping that will ensure that there are enough targets to make this work.
