Islands equal mortus strider. Play one strider have one in hand with altar and deathrender in play. Now sacrifice stridrr to altar for mill the other will go to play and first will go to hand. Rinse and repeat infinitely.

You only need the one Mortus Strider. Both it and Deathrender use triggered abilities. Simply resolve the Mortus Strider first so it will be in your hand, THEN the Deathrender to put it back on the field.

As for building a deck around this. Lifeline would help.
