yeah, it ain't great, but it does give you +6/+6 for each creature beyound the first

It says that if the creature doesn't have Rampage.

exactly, so you play rapid fire, then after the doppelganger has rampage 2, you remove teeka's dragon from your graveyard, give the doppelganger rampage 4

Dopplegangers ability cause it to become the targeted creature, in this case it will become teeksa dragon with rampage 4 and the ability to change to another creature.  The copy effect will overwrite the rampage 2 since that was on the dimer and does not carry over to the new creature

I know you play classic so under that it will work because as the card states it keeps its abilitys and first strike and rampage are abilites it gained.

However, under current rules it would not because the shapeshifter has been errtad to keep only the discard ability
