Alright the idea of this is to have life and limb in play turning all saps and forests into each other basically now asap play velis vel targeting opponents creatures (making them saprolings...and forests). Now play acid rain to destroy which is even better if forests are being played by opponent already.

Do you play this in a deck with nonbasic lands?

This could be tricky because you might want to be running specific dual lands so that the forest destruction doesn't disable you as well. Otherwise, it is an obscure combo, meaning it might buy itself the time you need to pull it off since people won't be expecting it.

Trick is signets ingots lantern of insight etc. Or yes non basic lands I like the trans guild promenade.
