Pentavus and Arcbound Crusher in play, Contagions are optional.
Whenever you use Pentavus to create small flyers, they are artifacts, and thus increase the Arcbound's size. This might be enough to kill the creature that is blocking/is blocked by Arcbound Crusher by surprise, or during attack make the difference between defeating a player.

My only problem is the expense of the combo, otherwise it works well, since it is colorless.

I accidentally noticed this combo in my pure neutral color artifact deck, and its mana base is fully based onto 5 different cards: Urza's Mine, Urza's Tower, Urza's Power Plant, Cloudpost, Glimmerpost. In addition, it has four expedition maps for some land fetching. In that specific deck, I got all the mana in the world.
basicly I can bring out Pentavus on turn 3 or 4. and my deck doesn't have contagion clasp, it's just too cheap. Contagion engines I've always been able to play AND immediately tap.

What are tron lands?
