Thats some complicated combo. Im starting to wonder if it is actully a combo or a bunch of cards that work well together? I understand that you can take the -1-1 persist counters off the sacrificed creatures but I dont understand how all white creatures having +1+1 has anything to do with it. If I figure this out (which I probilly won't) do I get a prize?

He gives a creature Persist, then sacrifices it with Ashnod's Altar. When it comes back, remove the -1/-1 counter with Medicine Runner. Now sac the same creature with Phrexian Vault. The only problem is that you can't untap the Vault again unless you have a second Dross Scorpion.

mecidine runner is the sac'd creature, it will remove its own -1 counter however it would die having 0 toughness before that happens honor keeps it alive with the counter

though dross makes no sense as it can be saced to the vault and persisted back but would die before it loses the counter unless he ment glorious anthem instead of honor

I get that you can sac the Medicine runner to the altar after giving it Persist with the Cauldron, and then Honor keeps it alive long enough to remove the -1/-1 counter with it's ability.

But how do you untap the Cauldron to repeat the sequence? You can sacrifice the Dross Scorpion to the Altar to do it once, sure. Twice with Persist (though it will die straight away the second time for 0 toughness).

It would work if you swapped the 'Runner with a Clockwork Beetle. One of the Beetle's counters will cancel the -1/-1 counter from persist, and when you sac the beetle the Scorpion will trigger.

Sorry guys... wrong combo.. I just posted this combo assuming that the rule text of Dross Scorpion was "Whenever Dross Scorpion or another creature is put into a graveyard from play, you may untap target artifact." I missed the artifact creature part. Sorry guys..
