Target your opponent with Shields of Velis Vel and bounce Hazezon Tamar to exile all of their creatures! There are no creatures they could control that won't be affected.

I'm thinking about making a Hazezon Tamar landfall deck with ETB abilities for both lands and creatures. Any suggestions for other cards to interact with him?

Just one hint to your Timing:
10/1/2009: Only Sand Warriors that are actually on the battlefield when Hazezon Tamar leaves the battlefield are affected when its second ability resolves. If Hazezon leaves the battlefield after the delayed triggered ability created by its first ability triggers but before that ability resolves, its second ability triggers and resolves first, then the Sand Warriors are put on the battlefield. Those Sand Warriors will remain on the battlefield indefinitely.

So cast the Shields first and let them resolve. Cast Hazezon, let it resolve and put the etb ability (Sand Tokens) on the stack, in Response cast cloudshift, resolve cloudshift (remove all opps creatures), resolve Hazezon etb (put Tokens into Play on your side).
