Okay so, this makes for some award winning fun. Death to all creatures for as much black mana as you have open. Add Death Pits of Rath for death to all creatures plus some life gain for one whole mana.

If you throw in the Death Pits of Rath and take out the Light Sanction, the combo costs the same as Plague Wind. Regardless, I'm rather sure you can play the combo and DPoR before you could typically play Plague Wind.

True, but this gains you the life...a tad more helpful than just a mean ole Plaguewind.
