well for some reason this weak database doesn't contain elderscale wurm or primordial hydra wich are each paired with elgaud shieldmates making them hexproof. elderscale wurm keeps your life at 7 or higher while primordial hydra's +1/+1 counters double at your upkeep. when ten counters are on hydra it gains trample. did i here someone say "i scoop"

I think every one of my decks has removal or bounce to get around hexproof, (Cyclonic Rift, Day of Judgement, Life's Finale, etc.). You pretty much need it these days. I would hope that no ones scoops to this or combos like it, despite the obvious challenge it poses. Nevertheless, this is a good combo. Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to play Asceticism instead of both sheildmate's though?

Final Judgement and Merciless Eviction are my personal favorites for dealing with hexproof.
