Forest= Doubling Chant. Make a sideboard of creatures that are copies of creatures in your deck, cast living wish, then play doubling season after playing the creature to get doubling chant to work. And it doesn\'t break any rules as far as I know lol :)

In EDH (as fas as I know and I play it with my fellows) the living wish won't be able to find a card since you have no sideboard and the card pool is limited to your deck.
Please compare http://mtgcommander.net/rules.php?jump=sideboards#optional, there you find the optional official rules for sideboard in commander which is limited to 10 cards. Your idea will work if some house rule allows you to have valid targets for the wish.

Well, the idea with the 10 card sideboard was that playing the sideboard full of one copy of the best creatures in the deck would let living wish resolve. Anyone I've played against has used a sideboard, so I thought the same went for competitive play as well. In this case, though, I was just making an attempt to make doubling chant halfway useful in commander.

If you use the optional rule thething to remember is that the sideboard is an extension of the deck and needs to follow the same rules the format has with decks. In other words only 1 copy of a card between the deck and side board for edh.
Now since if its an unsanctioned game and you dont have a sideboard you can use the rules listed on gatherer for living wish to use your collection the pool to choose from therefore bypassing the single copy rule.

Ultimately edh is a casual format and is subject to the rules you and your playgroup make for it

Yes it is lol. But got a better combo up made of only artifacts. It's freakin amazing when it's played lol. This one sucks, but the other recreates doubling chant for all permanents :)
