Really, this works better with origanal rules, where you could go into negitive life for the phase, so long as you came out of it, but putting them a 1 life, and you at 20 is still good

Well, as long as you have the advantage... Next turn, you can just play a mere "Misery charm". It's a form of mind games for your opponent... Makes him ask: what are you going to play next? Will i get lucky and survive and make a comeback or will i just die waiting for a tide turning card in my deck (if i have any)?
