Stolen Identity

4uu
Sorcery Rare
Put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of target artifact or creature.

Cipher (Then you may exile this spell card encoded on a creature you
control. Whenever that creature deals combat damage to a player, its
controller may cast a copy of the encoded card without paying its mana
cost.)

Quite possibly it could I believe if the creatures had haste, say with fervor on the field or anger in the grave. But then again, not sure. It'd be nice though.
I'd probably make the combo piece utrava hellkite though if you were doing this to make it a little stronger with better synergy

Wait, it wouldn't work due to the fact that the original creature would have to be sacked and the encoded ability would only be on that creature. Otherwise it'd be pretty sweet. It'll still be pretty strong though

Yes it would work. You just need a second creature to hold the Fury enchantment for the first attack, since I am assuming that the Cipher would go on the unblockable. Then you move the Fury to the token.

I'm wondering if coding a spell with cipher on a creature results in a copyable object. Want to say that the effect of the cipher spell becomes an ability of the creature which I can clone or do something like that.

I assume it would be like imprinting.

Regardless, wizards had this to say:
As a spell you control with cipher resolves, you may exile it and choose a creature you control. The cipher card is then encoded on that creature, and whenever that creature deals combat damage to a player, its controller may copy the encoded card and cast the copy without paying its mana cost.

I read "encoded on" as not "encoded in" which is to say it is not put into the card, just on top of it like a not-quite-counter. Thus I am assuming just as Clone doesn't pick up the copied creature's counters, it would not be encoded.
