Island = Zameck Guildmage
Plains = High Priest of Penance

Have the devotion, Guildmage and High priest in play. Activate the Guildmage, cast Redcap, sac the Guildmage to put regeneration shield on High Priest. Redcap enters battlefield doing 2 damage to High Priest which regenrates and destroys 1 permanent. Repeat sacrificing the Redcap which returns multiple times due to persist/+1/+1 counters mechanismn.

Of course you also could damage opp directly...

I'm surprised Fanatical Devotion doesn't come up more often it seems pretty useful

One small problem with this, when you sacrifice the Redcap you're doing so to pay the cost of the ability that will grant the regeneration shield.  Because this ability is put on the stack before Redcap's ability the Redcap's ability will resolve first bringing it into play and triggering the damage to be also on top of the regeneration ability.  The damage will resolve and the High Priest will be killed before the regeneration shield can be placed on him.

You can get around this by casting the High Priest after you activate the Guildmage.  This will allow it to enter with 1 +1/+1 counter.  When the Redcap enters it will trigger to deal two damage to, let's say, the High Priest.  Respond to that trigger by sacing the Redcap to create the regen shield, it will enter before that ability resolves and deal 1 damage to the 2/2 Priest.  The Priest will trigger to destroy a non-land permanent, let it be destroyed, let the regen shield resolve, then let the additional two damage be dealt to the Priest.  He will trigger and the regen shield will take the damage off of him, then the destroy trigger be placed on the stack.  His Trigger will resolve and you'll be in a comfortable board state to keep things out of hand :).

Sorry I was too short with words...

Longer explanation: To avoid this small problem first I activate the Guildmage and let it resolve.
Second I cast Redcap. Resolving Redcap spell triggers 2 damage put on the stack targeting the Priest and  in response I sacrifice the Guildmage to put a regeneration shield on High Priest. Resolve Shield on priest, in response before first 2 redcap damage are dealt I sacrifice the redcap to activate the fanatical devotion for Priest again. This triggers the persist ability of the redcap which brings the redcap back triggering the 2 damage again.
So I start building a big stack with alternating regeneration shields and damage. When the stack resolves and I allow to reduce the amount of regeneration shields, then the destroy ability of the Priest will be triggered.
Also I could target my opponent with the redcap damage instead of the priest for the first regen shield...
