Play aphetto alchemist, then enchant it with the aura.  Tap gilded lotus for 3 blue mana, tap alchemist to untap the lotus.  Spend one blue to untap alchemist, then repeat.  Once you have infinite mana, you can use the -1/+1 ability of the aura to make the alchemist 0/infinity, then +1/-1 to make him half-infinity/half-infinity+1.

That doesn't quite work the way you're thinking. A creature enchanted with Pemmin's Aura can have his power go below 0. It basically becomes a negative number. That means that there's really no way to use Pemmin's abilities to give your creature infinite power. I mean, Wizards has even printed cards with negative power, like Char Rumbler and Spinal Parasite.

Drat!  I did not do my research well.  I guess it's just an infinite mana combo.

Well, you can still make a freaking amazing defender.

if you want infinite power, use umbral mantle... and training grounds...

i did looked this up and asked people online you can keep giving him -1/+1 as much as you want. think about dead weight if the creature is a 1/3 you would be able to target it with dead weight.

Yes, you could target a 1/3 creature with Dead Weight. It would become a -1/1 creature. However, if it dealt damage, it would deal 0(zero) damage instead of -1 damage.

to make it infinite damage, simply add a prodigal sorcerer or another creature with the ability... this combo is super expandable... i like it

to make it infinite draw and mana use a enclave cryptologist or a archivist

infinite uptaps for any number of creatures and infinite mana... works well with many, many creatures (avatar of woe and living lands anyone?)
