have all out. equip skullclamp to kobold. sac it to altar. mortuary returns it to top of deck. use mana generated to equip to other kobold. repeat process. nets one mana so build up shrine and explode it.

you either need Kobold Drill Sergeant or mana echoes instead of the altar to make this combo work.

It works fine with what it has as long as you sac the first kobald to the alter instead of equipping the skullclamp. You then equip the clamp to the second and draw both kobald to repeat

Ok, I see the difference now. I was stuck to the description of sacrificing the equipped kobold.
With two kobolds you have infinite colorless mana and damage and may put your lib in your hand, with 1 kobold and the taskmaster you draw your lib and have max ~51 colorless mana and damage. So the taskmaster would provide a tutor mechanism, you may find a second kobold and go also for infinite mana and damage.
