Either Cauldron Haze or Undying Evil is replaceable with a creature who has the appropriate effect, sacrificing them instead.

Give undying/persist to sacrifice fuel, sacrifice Selhoff Occultist/Undying creature/Persisting creature, bring back into play with whichever effect will cancel the other out, repeat until enemy player has no cards.

The creature loses persist after it leaves play. It also loses undying when it leaves play. You would have to give it the ability every time it came into play for this to work. Sorry.

Damn. You could still use a creature with Persist and Melira, Sylvok Outcast, but then it's basically a different sac engine with the same card to burn the enemy deck.
