Let's say that you attack with Sovereigns and your opponent has no blockers. First, search for the Eldrazi Aura and attach it. It deals 34 damage from the first attack, and your opponent sacrifices 2 permanents. Now, Finest Hour lets you attack again. You search for a second Eldrazi Aura and attach it. I am not sure if your opponent would sac 2 or 4 permanents now, but let's say it is 4. The Sovereigns now deals 54 damage to your opponent. Now, that's a total of 6 sacrificed permanents and 88 damage to your opponent. The best part is, this all works in Standard.

If anyone wants to find out how much damage you would deal next turn with 2 more Conscriptions, please feel free. (^_^)

So, if this was attached to Emrakul, does that mean it would be 8?

I would think attaching this aura to emarkul would sac 8, 6 for emarkul and 2 for the aura.

Also for the orignal combo, this is really nice, even if the opponent has a blocker the aura is attacked by that point so 17 the first swing will take out most blockers and the 17 from the second would go right to the player, very cool.  One thing is based the orignal combo with no blockers you would do 88 damage but only 2 permanants would be sac'ed to annilatior.  The reason being is annilatior triggers when your declare attackers, which is the same time soverreigns triggers, so by the time you attach it the opportunity for it to trigger has passed.  In the second combat phase when you declare attackers the 1st aura triggers annilator triggers as does sovereigns. 2nd one attachs after the fact and can't trigger until the next combat phase.  Though with 88 damage what are the odds.
