Zombie Infestation isn't really needed, but it is a good way to do it quick.
I'd add on Gravecrawler+Phyrexian Altar to gain maximal board control.

Adding Eon Hub couldn't hurt.

Is there a nonzombie creature that can survive fifteen of these triggers in a single turn (aside from the mesa falcon or serra avatar types)?

Play Torpor Orb against removal of this type and make sure you have recursion to get it back if destroyed.
