Play the mountain (or mountain analog), drop the Ornithopter, sac it to Infernal Plunge, Use that three mana to play Seething Song and drop the Sneak Attack WITH ONE MANA LEFT TO ACTIVATE IT!

No lotus, no moxes, no petals, the only rare being Sneak Attack.

That is the beauty of this combo. You aren't using multiples of a single card or using a restricted card, so you have four of each in the deck (aside from the mountain, of which you'll have more) so as far as first turn drops go, it is one of the more solid ones I've seen posted since I joined.

Distinctive Serpents

The combos described therein are as solid as yours, too.

It isn't that hard to have this happen. I used Rite of flame from Coldsnap over plunge + memnite. I had it in a R/B reanimator deck...usually won turn 2.

Distinctive Serpents is NOT a first turn combo. "You will need 3R available to start this. You cannot use the mana from Geosurge to cast Increasing Vengeance, so......" ~Skybreak22
1st Turn Emrakul requires two Dark Rituals to be in your opening hand. I don't require two of anything to be in my opening hand, thus the law of averages is more likely to cater in my favor than that. Lastly, that is using a Lotus Petal is restricted in Vintage (though according to the Banned/Restricted Site rules, the only damned different between "Vintage" and "Legacy" formats are their names (and obviously Banned/Restricted lists.

@Nickosis: The first two words in my combo's title are "Mono" and "Red".
You can't use a single Rite of flame to get three mana, first turn. It is not in your graveyard when it resolves. I'm assuming that you'd use Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual, or Simian Spirit Guide in conjunction to Rites of Flame which still requires the same number of cards in hand as my combo. If such is the case, you should have posted it, as I didn't find your name when I searched for "Rite of Flame'.

Then tell what is the difference to the sneak attack combo by Twogunkid "Fixed Turn 1 Win"? Also monored without mox or petal

Well isn't someone quick to the defense. I wasn't saying it is bad, I like it. Here is what I was saying: Rite of flame, desperate ritual, seething song, sneak attack then creature. About the same amount of luck and cards, just another way sir.

The difference is that Infernal Plunge is still in standard, Ornithopter has been reprinted so many times it should be no problem to get, and Seething Song has also been reprinted, making the only difficult piece to acquire to be Sneak Attack.
Again, good sir Knarf, I beg of you to not only read the combos you suggest, but threads where you post your replies. Twogunkid's post occured 17 Aug 10. I joined 02 Nov 11. My post at 13 Oct 12 at 1:34 am EST reads thusly:

I never said anything close to "OMFG I HAvE b3st Sneak ATTACK COmBo 3v4r!"
Secondly the way I didn't search the database for Sneak Attack combos, as I know they are numerous. INSTEAD, I searched for Infernal Plunge combos and there were none (hence I knew there were no already established Sneak Attack combos using Infernal Plunge).
So I'm fully able to say that I was unaware that Twogunkid made his combo. It looks like it would work as well as mine, if not better, considering that I facilitate a creature while he facilitates a second instant.

It's been a week for me, and when I thought that I had finally found a great way to activate Sneak Attack first turn, I looked to see if anyone had used the cards I did, then I posted it. I would have been alright with someone actually poking a hole in it. Instead I found two people that replied and my only conclusion was that one didn't read the post right before theirs OR one of their cited combos, but that someone had not even read the title of the combo.
I'm going to be perfectly honest here. If I had known that Sneak Attack was going for over $40, I would have never of bothered posting this combo.

It is still goober man. Yeah I had a R/B reanimater that used the combo then turn 2 Exhume my sac'd dude. I just recently sold my Sneaks. I did it before it was a reanimater with the Eldrazi Legends and Progenitus...pretty much game everytime. This combo with Bogaradan Hellkite and or that Utvara Hellkite is amazing.

Again though, my first sentence in my reply was: "This isn't too hard to have happen". I then told you how I did it. I wasn't saying either was stronger or weaker, just showing a way that can ne used as well, giving you more options in a deck. It is a solid combo and I'm sorry if you feel as though I was degrading it.
