I almost have an Esper Artifact/Control EDH deck with Ertai the Corrupted as my General. I\'m still fine-tuning it and working out the kinks.Plus I still need to get a copy each of Ertai and Merieke Ri Berit from a guy I know named Wesley. It\'s gonna have a fair bit of countermagic and is going to be doing ALOT of drawing to get my wincons. The idea behind this is simple. Make more creatures to sac to Ertai.

Best card with Ertai? In my opinion, Lullmage Mentor. Sac a creature to counter, you get another creature. Also (i'm sure you have these) but make sure you've got ways to untap him, especially in a multiplayer game. Otherwise, Ertai won't be around much.

I only intend the deck to be 1 on 1. I have other EDH decks that I can play in multiplayer.

Time Sieve would work great with a Master Transmuter. Keep putting things in and out of your hand. I love the transmuter. Such a good card. You could also use Time Sieve with something that violently vomits out artifact creatures that is reusable.
