Sharding Sphinx is Sphinx of Uthuun and Venser is the Venser planes walker.

Use Venser to blink the Sphinx in and out of play getting you as the name implies insane card advantage.

Mind unbound work soooo much more efficiently, but hey, it's a sphinx!

No, I think Mind Unbound is better. First, every card you get off it is in your hand, you wonlt lose anything to the graveyard. Second, its an enchantment, which is way sturdier than a creature and a planeswalker. Honestly, I never have seen planeswalkers stick around more than a couple turns, which the exception of Tamiyo, who's just sick at control. But with Dreadbore coming out soon, shes going to be a target too. Also, everyone runs some removal that can handle creatures, and that Sphinx is going to be a target too. Besides, its easier to come up with one card than two. Perhaps its just that I play with people who are highly reactive and run a lot of options, but I don't think I've ever seen a deck that doesn't have some sort of creature removal. But very few decks mainboard enchantment removal, because they're usually not so common of a threat.

I agree with the caption. Even though Mind Unbound takes a little while to get going, you almost always win when it does. Once you've got the big card advantage, you have tons more options then your opponent and the scales are in your favor. If Mind Unbound is too slow for you, trying pairing it with Paradox Haze. (it gives you 2 upkeeps per turn, if you do this make sure you've got no maximum hand size somehow)
